Common questions

Answered, plainly.

Is my financial data safe?
All traffic uses TLS 1.2+. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, and your data is stored on Neon Postgres with encryption at rest at the storage layer. We never sell your data — our only revenue is your subscription.
What does the Insights actually do?
Three things: explains charts and trends in plain English, projects your goals based on actual data, and answers questions like "can I afford this?" It runs on your data only — your numbers don't train any model for your peice of mind.
How is FinX different from Mint, Copilot, Monarch, Rocket Money, Sharesight?
FinX replaces all of them. Mint died because it was free and ad-supported. Copilot is good for tracking. Monarch is good for budgeting. Rocket Money is good for subscriptions. Sharesight is good for stock analysis. FinX is built to be one tool that does all of that, well, and gives you the picture none of them give.
Does the Tax calculator replace my accountant?
No. But what it does is help you understand your tax obligations and optimize your strategy and plan for the future.
When does FinX launch fully?
Public launch is rolling out now to founding members. Full availability in Q2.
Will you add features to the platform?
Yes! our intent is to provide our customers the utmost valuable possible.
